The end of day chart above shows Open, High, Low, Close and Volume
as a candlestick chart. The prices are shown as a 'candlestick', so for instance in the example to the left, the first candlestick on
Mar 17 shows a High of 10.52, a Low of 10.25 (the vertical line), an Open of 10.46 (the tick on the left) and a close of 10.49 (the tick on the right). If the bar is blue, this means that the close was higher than the open and if the bar is red, it means that the close was lower than the open. |
